The Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Summer Tournament in Burlington gets underway Saturday, July 7 at Catholic Central High School and St. Charles Grade School.
A total of 16 teams will participate in the event with games beginning at noon on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
The tournament is arranged in bracket format with each team guaranteed four games, two on each day.
Following are the initial matchups for the tournament:
Saturday, July 7
Noon -- De Pere vs. Jefferson (At Catholic Central #1)
Noon -- Burlington vs. Poynette (At Catholic Central #2)
Noon -- Kenosha Indian Trail vs. Salam School (at St. Charles)
1 p.m. -- Racine Horlick vs. Monticello (At Catholic Central #1)
1 p.m. -- Verona vs. Racine Lutheran (At Catholic Central #2)
1 p.m. -- Kenosha Bradford vs. Madison Edgewood (At St. Charles)
2 p.m. -- Marathon vs. Catholic Central (At Catholic Central #1)
2 p.m. -- Lodi vs. Union Grove (At Catholic Central #2)
Winners' bracket games continue at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The championship game is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Catholic Central.
Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
