The Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Exposure Camp concluded Tuesday at Viterbo University in La Crosse.

Following are some end-of-the-camp news and notes.

Players at the WBY Camp were divided into 12 different teams. Following are the MVPs for each of the teams at camp as selected by the camp coaches:

Peter Drummond, 5-11, PG, Sr., Racine Lutheran
A pass-first point guard who is capable of running an offense, defending and scoring … A bit streaky with his perimeter jump shot, but can get on a roll and knock down several in a row … Plays with passion and energy on both ends of the court … Displays strong leadership skills, a trait all coaches like out of their starting point guard … First-team all-league choice in the Midwest Classic Conference in each of the past two seasons.

T.J. Hemauer, 6-2, WG, Sr., Hilbert
Won the slam-dunk and three-point shooting contests while also playing on the winning three-on-three and team championship teams at camp … A strong athlete who was on fire throughout camp from long distance … Also showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and get into the lane for pull-up jump shots … May have improved his stock with college recruiters more than any other player at the WBY camp … Second-team all-league pick in the Olympian Conference as a junior.

Trevor Wattawa, 6-5, WG/WF, Sr., Milwaukee St. Thomas More
An extremely versatile player who can handle the ball in transition, post-up in the lane and make shots from beyond the three-point arc … Battles extremely hard on the glass and is able to convert put-back opportunities … Was often matched up against bigger players at camp, but was more than able to hold his own thanks to quickness and mobility … Played with consistent effort and was more than willing to share the ball with his teammates … Second-team all-league selection in the Woodland Blue as a junior.

Terrence Garner, 6-3, WG, Jr., Oak Creek
Without a doubt one of the elite players at camp … Drove the ball to the hole and finished above the rim … Knocked down long-distance and mid-range jump shots with regularity … A smooth wing-guard prospect who figures to get serious looks from scholarship schools over the next two seasons … Honorable mention all-league honoree in the Southeast Conference as a sophomore.

Aaron Retzlaff, 6-4, WF, Jr., Randolph
One of the toughest players in camp … Used physical strength and skill to score in the lane and convert through contact … Excellent footwork and basketball intelligence … Displayed the ability to consistently make long-distance jump shots … Showed athleticism while competing in the slam-dunk competition … Definitely one to keep an eye on over the next two seasons … Second-team all-league choice in the Trailways Central as a sophomore.

Matt Adams, 6-3, WF, Sr., Luxemburg-Casco
Can guard multiple positions … Used length and quickness to keep bigger players off balance in the lane while also showing the ability to guard away from the basket … A developing offensive player who showed the ability to make mid-range jump shots … Has a good basketball build and figures to improve as he gains more strength and weight … Second-team all-league pick in the Bay Conference as a junior.

Alex Wuensch, 6-2, PG, Sr., La Crosse Central
Gets into the lane and either creates for his teammates or scores himself … Physically and mentally tough point guard who competes with an edge … A good leader who places winning as his primary concern each and every time he steps onto the court … Had a strong spring showing while competing for the Wisconsin Playmakers travel-team program … Honorable mention all-league selection in the Mississippi Valley as a junior.

Brandon Hagenow, 5-10, PG, Sr., Sussex Hamilton
Hagenow weaved his way in and around defenders while creating scoring opportunities for his teammates and himself … A physically strong lead guard who also showed the ability to defend … Like several other point guards in camp, a leader who appeared extremely comfortable running his team … Honorable mention all-league pick in the Greater Metro Conference as a junior.

David Klink, 6-1, WG, Jr., Kimberly
Simply would not be denied on aggressive drives to the basket … Was able to get to the hoop and score each day of camp … Perimeter shot was a bit streaky and he appeared more comfortable getting to the hoop … Good athlete who moved well on defense … Averaged 8.3 points per game for Kimberly as a sophomore.

Joe Jordan, 6-3, WG/WF, Sr., Juda
One of the surprise performers at camp … Played with energy on both ends of the court throughout camp … Made long-distance jump shots and also used length, skill and quickness to get to the basket off the bounce … First-team all-league selection in the Six Rivers East as a junior.

Jacob Haag, 6-7, C, Jr., Lodi
Has made steadly progress over the past two seasons … Excellent work ethic and desire to improve is apparent … Was able to convert several baby hook shots in the lane … Runs the floor well and uses length to discourage opponents from scoring in the lane … A key player for a Lodi program expected to challenge for a spot in the WIAA Division 3 State Tournament next season … Honorable mention all-conference in Capitol North as a sophomore.

Alex Steckar, 5-6, PG, Sr., Oostburg
Don’t let his size fool you … This kid can play and he does it the right way … Tremendous basketball intelligence … Handles the ball extremely well … Can get into the heart of a defense and create for himself or teammates … Good quickness and physical strength … A leader on and off the court … First-team all-league pick in Central Lakeshore Conference as a junior.
